Hardwood flooring is the most common kind of flooring. Because it comes from nature, hardwood adds charm and beauty to a home. It adds value too, because of its relatively high cost. Hardwood floors are warm and comfortable to step upon with barefoot. The best thing about hardwood floor is that it can be periodically renewed with refinish.
Laminate floor has the look of hardwood floor but is much more affordable. It is only second to hardwood in popularity. Laminate floor is easy to install; no nails are needed in the installation. The disadvantage, however, is that laminate floors can’t be refinished.
